Katelyn's Birthday Party!
So, now that Katelyn is one year old, I will no longer be doing the daily pictures. But I will try to post weekly pictures in order to share the cuteness :) Here are the pictures from Katelyn's first birthday party, on April 7, 2012.

4-5-12 Letter from Mama and Slideshow
Dearest K-Squirrel,
This year has gone by so quickly and I cannot believe how much you have changed. I am sad that you are no longer my little baby, but I am so excited to see how much you grow and learn with each new day. I am amazed at how observant you always are and how interested you are in every new thing that crosses your path. I will always remember the following about this first year - in the first few months, you were obsessed with this decoration on the wall in our living room and would look at it and smile at it all the time. You call the cats "buh" because I am trying to teach you Rudiger's nickname (Bug) and now you think that is the word for cat. You love both of our cats (Rudiger and Gizmo) so much and you love to tackle them with hugs. You crawl around repeating the cats by saying "ow" instead of "meow". Pens are one of your favorite toys - you like to wave them around in the air. You also love playing with cell phones and laptops. You are constantly "talking" on the phone, and you use anything and everything as a phone (my cell phone, a pen, your hand, etc). You currently point at everything and say something that sounds like "what's that" while you point. You LOVE to dance, and it is the most adorable thing in the world. Your beautiful smile will always brighten my day and I look forward to seeing the amazing person you are turning into more and more each day. Your mommy and daddy love you more than anything and we always will.
